That'd be great - thank you! ^__^ Can you PM me your physical address so I'll be able to just take it out of one package and pop it in the other when it gets here?
(The doujinshi will take more sorting out and I'll have to copy 'em for translating before I put 'em in the mail, but since the BetsuHana is coming back, I can wait until it gets back in order to do the translating... either that or I'd be standing over a copier at Kinko's for half an hour. ^^;

Cool cool! Sent you my address via Private Message! ^^

One more update:
The package is either flying out of Japan today or flew out yesterday (I'm not sure how to deal with the international date line in stuff I see on the Web ^^; and I'd imagine it ought to get to me by Thursday or Friday.
So I'll put Blood Hound straight back in the mail to Carole when it gets to me and then I'll go copy and scan covers of the doujinshi and come up with links to covers and final prices and the buyers can hash out who wants which this weekend or so... ^__^ (I definitely want to get 'em in the mail to folks before I leave for Japan, which effectively means getting stuff sorted out before May 12 so that I have the 13th or 14th to do packing/mailing before I go to ACen on the 15th...)
later y'all... ^_^

Yay! Blood Hound is almost here ^^ err..one question though...since the issue should get to you thursday or friday that means I'll probably get it sometime next week...and when I ship it back to you will you be at home to recieve it? Or are you going to have someone pick up your mail....I'd hate to send you the package and then have it sitting on your doorstep until you get back and something happen to it.

YYYEEEEEEAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH.....
(pant pant pant wheeze hack gaaaasp)
I SWEAR the Blood Hound project is DETERMINED to fight me tooth and nail kicking and screaming to the bloody end. @_@
Got back from my Japanese final. Found the we-tried-to-deliver-this slip in the mailbox. Broke a couple land speed records, not to mention the speed limit, hauling butt all the way across town to get to the post office before it closed. Made it with about 30 seconds to spare, and they didn't have any boxes the right shape for the BetsuHana anyway.
No problem, I thought; since I'm going to be spending approximately 44 hours on airplanes in the next few weeks and I despise the movie selection of most transatlantic flights, I'll take *all* of it over to Kinko's and copy away.
Copy copy copy copy copy copy copy (Gaaaaasp) copy copy copy (arrrgh)...
for one thing, both the doujinshi and the BetsuHana are juuuuust a fraction of an inch bigger than 8.5x11, and some of the doujinshi artists liked writing teeeny ittle text all the way out to the edges, so I'm going to have to go through all the doujinshi page by page and write in what I'm missing before I can put them in the mail, but that's another gripe...
discovered about halfway through the Blood Hound story that the copy machine had reset itself after I was done with the doujinshi, so it was copying the wrong damn direction and chopping off about half a page anyway...
fixed that, decided I was too tired after the brainwringing final to go back and REcopy the whole thing, picked up all the stuff, walked out the door...
and a spiffy gust of good ol' Central Illinois flat-as-a-pancake nothing-between-you-and-the-horizon-but-corn tornado-breeding-country wind blew about half of them out of my hands and off across five blocks of highway and shopping mall parking lot before I could blink.
On the bright side, at least I managed to hang onto all the doujinshi copies, and most of what I lost from Blood Hound was the messed-up copy section anyway, but all in all I've got about 16 correctly-copied pages out of an approximately 70-page story and I give up on trying to beat the system, I'll just wait for the post office to get it back to me.
(wheeze wheeze pant fuuuuume...)
oh yeah, Carole, that's a good point -- I'm going to be unmailable everywhere from about May 15 to about June 6. How about you just hang onto it until at least the beginning of June, take your time getting it scanned, and mail it back to me after that?
(grumping off to go finish the wireless documentation I've still got to get done for work and then start page-edge-checking on the doujinshi copies...) ^^;;

HOLY COW!! You have the worst luck Risu-chan XD That Blood Hound reallly doesn't want to be scanlated! Don't worry! We'll beat it!

Rejoice one and all! For the coveted Blood Hound issue is in my hands! Which means...We are one step closer to having Blood Hound scanlated!
It was waiting on my doorstep when I got home (It's been raining buckets all day ) and I couldn't figure out what the heck was in it. I had completly forgotten I was expecting a package from Risu-chan

Yeah!
So start scanning that Risu has something to translate when she is back. *bg* ^^
